Having finished his shift at the restaurant, Charlie decides to spend his lunch break roller skating to unwind. Meanwhile, Edna finds herself the subject of unwanted attention from Mr. Stout, who had been involved in a scandal with Ednas father and Mrs. Stout at the restaurant earlier. Following a graceful roller skate ballet, Charlie takes on the persona of Sir Cecil Seltzer and receives an invitation to a party at Ednas place.
